My husband and I are millenials. I think millenials are not like the boomers in that there is extreme wealth inequality in our generation. The top 10% of us or so will get inheritances, good jobs, etc and buy houses in the city close to jobs and opportunity. The rest will be stuck living at home for decades, paying a large portion of rent, or moving far outside into the suburbs. Some will have to sacrifice owning a house, having children, or saving for retirement or more than one to be close enough to jobs and family. Today students have much more options like pay for essay and go to job or go to Europe!
